 At Lonehill Methodist Church we are passionate about ministry to young people. We believe that a generation of young people who are on fire for God can really change the world! It is our heart to see all children and youth living in a personal relationship with Jesus and being passionate builders of His Kingdom.
We have fun, dynamic and relevant programs for children of all ages on Sunday mornings that aim to help each child connect with God and grow in their faith. We also run Friday Night programmes for Grade 5-7s (Y’rd) and exciting events for Highschoolers. 0-2 MONTHS
For the Lil’ Kidz we offer a crèche (Classroom 25) and fully equipped cryroom in the foyer, with a video link to the service.
2-6 YEARS
Our vision for the Lil Kidz is to introduce them to God’s love and to teach them that God knows and cares for each one of us personally. This is taught in a loving, nurturing and safe environment. Simple biblical truths are introduced and we ensure kids have a real understanding of what it means to be loved

GRADE 1-4
Our vision for the Kewl Kidz is to help them understand that God is personal. Our focus for this age group is to increase their Biblical knowledge and helping them understand that the same God in the stories is the one we serve today. We teach them stories from the Bible in a fun, dynamic environment and help them see how these stories apply to our everyday lives. We encourage kids at this age to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to put God first in their lives.

GRADE 5-7
Under the umbrella of the Gen Now Ministry, Y’rd
is a group that seeks to Under the umbrella of the Gen Now Ministry, Y’rd is a ministry that seeks
to minister specifically to kids between the ages of 10-13. As a team it is
our goal to be relevant and in touch with the needs of the young people of
this age group. We seek to encourage the development of relationships
between the kids and God, the kids and the leaders and amongst the kids
themselves.
It is our aim to promote a sense of community within the context of the
wider church and to equip the kids in such a way that they look to serve
others in their community. On a Sunday morning Y’rd aims to provide a
relevant time of worship and a lesson which specifically caters to the
needs of this age group.
In these years that are so filled with change and decisions, our vision is to help children understand that God is not only personal but also practical and to help them establish their identity in Christ – to know for certain Who He is and Who they are in Him. A major part on our vision is also to partner with parents and to walk alongside them in helping them shape their children’s spiritual foundation and everyday lives.
On a FRIDAY NIGHT Y’rd provides a safe place where young people can
go and have fun whilst still being exposed to the lessons and love of
Jesus. If you would like to be added to our parents’ sms database so that

Highschoolers
Alive Youth is LMC’s ministry to highschoolers. Our vision is to raise up a generation of young people who are alive and passionate for God. We aim to create an environment where teenagers feel welcome, accepted and challenged to become all that God has destined them to be. Our heart is to create a safe place in which young people can encounter God, grow in discipleship, be part of an authentic Christian community and make a difference in the world.
Alive Youth meets during the Sunday morning services for a youthrelevant message and worship experience. We also have various youth activies that occur over weekends including Alive socials, Guys’ / Girls’ Nights, Outreaches, Life Groups and Worship and Prayer evenings. These activities are focused on fun, fellowship, mentoring, discipleship, outreach and belonging.

Young Adults'
LMC’s Young Adults’ Ministry is aimed at students and young professionals and our vision is to see a group of young people united, growing and standing for a cause bigger than themselves, making Godly decisions with the freedom and authority given to them by God through prayer, praise and fellowship.
The Young Adults have loads of exciting events throughout the year which focus on connecting with other Christians, fellowship and fun, as well as going deeper, seeking God and reaching out.
